I am talking with the QUEEN of burnout today, Audrey Holst.

Audrey has traveled through a myriad of work environments including dog walker, yoga instructor, owned a yoga studio, corporate lackey, and it didn’t matter what the job or environment was…there was the element of burnout – so much so that it started making her physically sick.

Since then, Audrey has become absolutely passionate in advocating for our nervous systems and providing tools and support for helping us identify and move through burnout.

ALL of us have experienced burnout at one time or another but society has told us to keep going, produce more, be FINE when we are in fact, not very fine at all. In this episode, Audrey shares warning signs that burnout is either nipping at your heals or full on wreaking havoc on your nervous system AND ways to help you through the burnout.

AUDREY HOLST helps really smart people not fall apart by helping them heal and transform their burnout. She combines over a decade of experience teaching yoga and mindfulness with extensive training and work as a Certified Professional Coach.

She is the author of an upcoming book that teaches readers that there is nothing wrong with them, that what they experience as burnout and disconnection makes sense, and that reconnecting to their body and healing their nervous system is the pathway to tap into their innate brilliance and their sense of self.

Each month she leads the Standing Still Collective, a virtual gathering for people that want to achieve their goals in a body-centered and intuitive way with the backing of a community that nurtures their positive actions and changes.

Audrey believes that everyone is deserving of a life that nourishes them and small and doable changes over time will eventually change the world.

And because I'm a professional bossypants (actual title) and have the sense of humor of a 12-year-old boy - I'll get you there faster and with lots of inappropriate laughter while we do the deep inner work.
